Great Dane - Dog Skeleton

This is the skeleton of a Great Dane that I created in the past few months. I used this project as an opportunity to study the anatomy of mammals, their bone structure and names of the bones. It was also a great way to train my eye and compare the proportions of differents kinds of dog breeds in my reference material.

My studies were based on a big collection of images as well as the following books, along with the 3D scans of the Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences at Massey University, New Zealand on Sketchfab.
